Doune Bay Lodge

Doune Bay Lodge, Knoydart looks west across the Sound of Sleat to the Skye Cuillins. The Lodge is informal accommodation for up to 12 guests – simple but with everything you need – think of it as a ‘Wilderness Beach Lodge’. The property features 4 single and 4 twin rooms, an open plan living area, furnished with comfy sofas and chairs, kitchen area with hot drink making facilities and a fridge. The shared utility area has 3 showers, 2 toilets, hand basins and drying facilities. Outside there is a full length veranda which leads on to your own private beach. Doune Lodge is off-grid, with power coming from renewable sources and the water comes straight off the hill (filtered and tested). Guests have access to charter our fast boat Mary Doune for access to the Knoydart Coastline and Small Isles. So whether you a large group of friends or families or just a couple who wants to have the lodge to yourself, Doune Bay Lodge can accommodate you. Dogs are most welcome.
