Cruise from Inverie to Mallaig

Inverie is the only village on the Knoydart Peninsula, which is known as ‘Europe’s Last Wilderness.’ Knoydart has about 120 permanent residents and with no road access, the ferry service is their only link to mainland services.

All boats have toilets and drinks available on board. All sailings are weather dependent so please check our website for any disruptions. A full refund will be made if your sailing is cancelled.

Provided there is space available, tickets can be purchased in cash on the boat. However we strongly advise pre-booking your sailings to avoid disappointment.

A return ticket costs £15 per adult, a single is £7.50. Children (5 – 15 years) travel half price and under five years travel for free as do dogs of all shapes and sizes.  Please note that each ticket will allow for 1 small piece of hand luggage (such as a handbag or laptop case) per person.  All other luggage such as suitcases, rucksacks and all groceries will be charged at £1 per item per sailing.

If you are staying at Inverie or just visiting for the day, there is a lovely one-hour cruise you can take from Inverie. This trip will sail further up Loch Nevis along the stunning coastline toward Tarbet.

Departing Inverie at 15:00 Monday to Friday from April to the end of October, this lovely little trip returns to Inverie at 16:15 before returning to Mallaig at 17:00.

Arrival for Sailing:

Passengers should be on the pier ready to board 15 minutes prior to sailing.

**Late arrivals may be denied boarding if loading and parking will delay the sailing.**
