A Grand Day Out
To Celebrate the Relaunch of the Western Isles After 8 Weeks on the Slip in Mallaig
The first time she has been on this slip in 50 years after the original fit out, the team put on a day to remember.
Bringing together local businesses to showcase the best of Scotland.
The day started with a Champaign and Oyster reception as the visitors were piped aboard by Nathan the resident piper.
Making our way up loch Nevis it wasn’t long before a Ceilidh band had the top cabin bouncing with the sound of violin, guitar, banjo, pipes and drums.
Next a stop up the loch to take in the magnificent scenery whilst Ben Nevis Distillery provided Whisky tasting accompanied by Scottish taps provided by West Highland Hotel.
A fantastic day aimed at showing local businesses what Western Isles Cruises is all about and showcasing what can be achieved when local business work together to create something really special.
Local produce, local drink, local musicians and of course the special characters that make up the crew on the Western Isles.
