Weddings
Ever thought about marrying on board a traditional beautiful wooden boat? Whether helping to arrange your wedding ceremony, or simply hosting the reception on board the MV Western Isles.
The West Coast of Scotland around Skye and the Knoydart peninsular is some of the most stunning scenery you will find anywhere and something very special you and your guests will never forget.
We can arrange for food from a top class local hotel, who can provide a chef and waitresses aboard to serve drinks and canapés as we sail.
We can also arrange live music and often if you are getting married ashore we can arrange a local piper to play you and your guests to and from the venue back to the boat. This can be quite special through the fishing village as you and your guests are lead through the village by a piper in full Scottish style.
Call the office to discuss your requirement with our friendly staff. They will be happy to help with any questions and give advice on accommodation and the local area.

Please note that all trip are weather dependent and the skipper has the final say if the trip will go ahead.
TV Production
Western Isles Cruises has done a number of private hires for TV production and this year we took part in the making of Series 5, Episode 5 of SAS Who Dares Wins 2020.
It was great fun and something a bit different from our normal ferry service, and we can tell you first hand it is as brutal on the contestants as it looks on TV.
We picked-up both teams from a beach on the Isle or Raasay, hid them from the hunter force, gave them their instructions and dropped them off for the next part of their mission.
