Western Isles Cruises Order A New Purpose Built 42 Passenger Catamaran In Operation April 2018
Following the successful takeover of the Knoydart Ferry Service in April 2016, Western Isles Cruises Ltd have announced the manufacture of a purpose built 42 passenger Catamaran to increase the passenger capacity for travellers wanting to visit this beautiful remote location.
The vessel will be called Larven named after the Munro on the Knoydart peninsular. This will come into service from June 2017.
The 14m Catamaran is being built by Powerglide, Wadebridge, Cornwall by Rod Baker.
The will add to the existing vessels operated by Western Isles Cruises, MV Western Isles an 81 passenger vessel and Big Dipper a 10 passenger red bay Rib.
